US Club Soccer’s instructions can be downloaded via the links on the left. These will walk you through the process of registering your team with US Club Soccer, getting player passes and rosters. Some words of advice:
If you have registered with US Club Soccer for 2010-11 through another league, you do not have to register again for HCSL. We will accept US Club Soccer Rosters and Player Passes you obtained by registering elsewhere.
To get started after reading the instructions, click on the US Club Soccer Registration Page link to the left. Then select "League Team" and then choose "Harford County Soccer League (HCSL)" from the "League Name" drop down list. You can disregard the reference to a $1,000 refundable deposit. This is NOT required for HCSL play.
Each team can be its own registrar. The registrar has overall control of the process and is the gatekeeper for player passes, etc. You do not need a Club registrar. If that is the way your Club wants it ... fine, but it is not required.
For a team to be its own registrar, enter "Team Name (Coaches Last Name)" as your "Club Name" two boxes below the drop-down box for "League Name".
After you have registered your team (Club), you can then log in to add the team, officials and players.
When entering e-mail addresses for coaches and players, do not enter the same address for more than one individual. The system cannot deal with duplicate e-mail addresses. Player e-mail addresses are not required.
When entering players, enter five (5) at a time. If you take too long entering too many players, the system will time-out and you can lose any unsaved data.
All team officials (coaches/managers) undergo background checks. This process can take from 2 to 4 working days from the time the officials pass is requested and paid for. Make sure you allow enough time for this.
When coaches/managers are entering data for background checks, make sure to use your FULL LEGAL NAME, no initials.
